Kunzea Essential Oil is one of the most cherished, yet lesser-known, oils derived from native Australian plants. This oil is steam-distilled from the Kunzea ambigua shrub that grows wild in Tasmania and Australia's eastern coast.
It is noted for its unique composition, including a very high level of alpha-pinene, which contributes to its woody, medicinal scent. Kunzea has been used for centuries by native cultures to soothe tired muscles and expedite recovery from injuries and overexertion.
Like Tea Tree Oil, Kunzea can be used on teenage blemishes or other instances of red, irritated skin. Many people also diffuse this oil to help release worries.
