Paleo Protein - Pumpkin Spice
Paleo Protein - Pumpkin Spice by Amy Myers MD
I have a confession… I love the flavor of pumpkin spice lattes! However, if you’re like me, you’ve likely chosen to give them up because coffee and caffeine can aggravate leaky gut, autoimmunity, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, and insomnia. That’s not even mentioning the massive amounts of sugar or the artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, and chemical preservatives commonly found in other pumpkin spice-flavored food and drinks.
Every serving contains a whopping 21 grams of pure protein. Fantastic for those concerned about getting protein in their diet. Not everyone always has a source of clean, collagen-based protein on hand, so Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein is the perfect way to incorporate an essential supplement of daily protein.
My Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein is quick and easy to prepare. What’s better than clean, pure protein? One that you can mix in a heartbeat and be on your way—that’s why I made sure that my formula mixes so easily—even in water! NO BLENDER NEEDED. Just add a scoop to some water, coconut milk, or your morning smoothie, and enjoy your quick and healthy pumpkin spice fix!
The Myers Way® Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein is perfect for those concerned about leaky gut. That’s right. It’s extremely rich in collagen-specific amino acids that help support endothelial cell health and optimal gut barrier function. In fact, the cells in your stomach and digestive tract absolutely love this stuff. With plenty of gut-loving Glutamine, Glycine, and Proline, Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein is your gut’s best friend.

FAQs
What is Paleo Protein made of?
The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is a high-quality form of all-natural hydrolyzed bovine collagen. It’s sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised beef that is 100% non-GMO and free of any hormones or antibiotics.
Can my child use Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein?
Yes, absolutely! The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is perfectly safe for kiddos, provided they’re not allergic to any of its ingredients. Try making your kids a chocolate or vanilla shake for breakfast or as a snack after school or sports. They will thank you for it!
What time of day should I enjoy Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein?
The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is perfect at any time of the day. I like it in my morning smoothies, and I have patients, family, and friends who tell me they enjoy it at all times of the day. Whether you’re mixing it into their morning coffee, into shakes for dessert, or adding it to soups and stews for an extra protein kick, you’ll find that it’s great around the clock. I even have a few friends who enjoy it right before bed to help them sleep!
Is Paleo Protein okay to use while pregnant or nursing?
Provided you are not allergic to any of the ingredients included in The Myers Way® Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein, on any prescribed medications that could be contraindicated, or have been advised by your physician not to use protein powders for any reason, then The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is safe to use in the amounts recommended on the product label. If you have any concerns whatsoever, I always recommend speaking with your physician or another qualified healthcare provider before enjoying it.
Is Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein damaged by heat?
All proteins are damaged by high heat to some extent. Proteins are long chains of amino acids bound together. High heat can potentially fold and warp the amino acid chains into new shapes and structures called amines that may be unusable by the body or even harmful. This is the same reason why you should avoid charring or overcooking meat. The proteins and peptides in my Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein are quite stable at moderately high temps, so adding it to a hot cup of tea or coffee or baking it at low temps (below 300 degrees) will not denature it too much.
Can I take Pumpkin Spice Paleo Protein if I’m allergic to tree nuts?
My Paleo Protein contains MCT oil derived from coconuts. Scientifically speaking, coconuts are not tree nuts; they are fruits classified as a “drupe.” Other drupes include palm fruit, peaches, berries, plums, and apricots. However, because the FDA has lumped coconuts in a group with other tree nuts for labeling purposes, etc., I am required to list them as a potential allergen. In fact, a true coconut allergy is actually extremely rare, with only a few cases reported in the medical literature. If you have a diagnosed tree nut allergy, please speak with your healthcare provider before consuming any products containing coconut.
Why are there fewer scoops in my container than the number listed on the label?
The listed amount of scoops per container is an approximation and can vary based on personal use such as how full you make your scoops, spilling it, how well you scrape out the container, etc. While the number listed is an approximation, it shouldn't vary considerably versus what you get.
Why do you use Stevia in your products?
As you know, the first pillar of The Myers Way® is to remove foods such as sugar, alcohol, and processed foods to help promote gut health. While following the first 30 days of The Myers Way®, I recommend avoiding all sugars, including naturally derived sweeteners. This is particularly important if you’re addressing gut balance and supporting the gut microbiome.
However, if you’ve completed the protocol, you might be ready to enjoy the occasional naturally sweetened indulgence!
I want to set you up for success, so I only use naturally derived sweeteners in my products. Stevia is a great natural sweetener used as a sugar substitute.
What is Stevia?
Stevia is a sweetener that is derived from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant, which is native to Paraguay and Brazil.
Is Stevia bad for you?
There have been a lot of stories about Stevia in the news, which has caused some concern about using this ingredient in the products and food you consume. The reason “Stevia” has been in the news is that it’s been found that several manufacturers have bulked up their “Stevia” by adding other artificial sweeteners, namely erythritol. We use only pure “Stevia” in our products, and none of our products contain erythritol.

from 210 reviewsI ordered a lemon button fern in a nursery pot, thinking it would be a smaller plant, and I received a larger sized, beautiful plant! It was packaged well and came in a timely manor. I am very happy with my purchase.
Love these products!
Beautiful little guy...healthy and thriving.
Beautiful, soft, and large- exactly what I was looking for.
Per my provider's directions, I put 5 drops into a small amount of water and stir. This product has not excipients (filler ingredients) and is tasteless.
Arrived very nicely packaged. No leaf out of place. It is now full of pretty little white flowers. Beautiful foliage....a healthy little plant.
Have not tried this yet, I put them away to have in emergency, I have a lot of TVP flavor soy protein. Building up the freeze dried meats now.
Perfect for 1 to two year Olds. Super versatile portion sizes. They stay suctioned... good baby shower gift.
It looked beautiful when it arrived and has been so healthy!
This is a great bamboo whisk .
