The Ismene Peruvian Lily is native to Planet Earth, amazingly. In fact, it's native to the American South. For realz. This creature-plant is from North Carolina, ya'll. Its gigantic, vanilla-scented blooms look like a white morning glory wearing cutoffs- fringed petals that look adorably coastal/casual- with outrageous white tentacles that curl out from it like big antlers. Blooms grow in sets of three to six on a single stem, with more stems and flowers as the bulb grows, bobbing above shiny, blade-shaped, emerald leaves.


These guys grow great indoors, but if planted outdoors make sure to wait until after your last frost to plant. You can also bring the bulbs back inside in the late fall to save them for next year (kind of like you do for Dahlias).


Includes two bulbs, packed in a cotton bag with planting instructions and a wooden plant marker.
